A transcription of two sermons giving by Rev. Goerge Jack M.A. of St Mungo's Chruch, Leith. Reprinted from "The Leith Observer, 1919, titled "The Sin of Cruelty to Animals". The issues covered in the sermon include the fur trade, vivisection, whether cruelty is a sin, the devine rights of animals.

The Tail Waggers Club raised funds for the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Vivisection from the 1930s-1950s.

As opposed to most of the ledger's in this collection, the Tail Waggers Club gives the name of the dog before that of the person donating money to the organisation.
