Photograph of a man holding six Strathdoon Stag-hounds on leads in a field with a kennel boy standing to one side in the early 20th century [Australia?]. Writing on the slide notes that the dogs have a dingo in their sights. Each of the dogs' names are written under the dog: [?] Lec, Strathdoon Rapid Rova, Bogunda, Strathdoon Rapid Bran, Wonga, and Strathdoon Laird.

The Mentor, Our Friend the Dog, 1918
"Our Friend the Dog", by Walter A. Dyer is a publication in celebration of the dog. The pamphlet contains information on the history of dogs, their domestication, details of modern breeds and their appearance, and details of different breeds of dogs. It is full of photographs and illustrations of dogs.
The publication was publised as part of "The Mentor", "Learn One Thing Every Day", October 1, 1918, Serial no. 164, department of natural history, Volume 6, number 16.
