2nd volume (of 4) of an impressive dictionary, published by the Highland Society of Scotland, Edinburgh, in 1828. This volume of the dictionary begins with "Cn">, "cnaimhseag", and finishes with "Gn", "gnàthachadh". The volume is interleaved with systematic manuscript additions by Professor Donald Mackinnon. Professor Mackinnon also makes handwritten editorial annotations on printed pages of the dictionary, including corrections and deletions.

Tamil dictionary, compiled c. 9th century CE by Tivakārar. The full text lists about 9,500 words and consists of 12 sections, most of which deal with synonyms, while the 11th section deals with homonyms. This first section deals with the names of Hindu gods, commencing with Sarikara (Siva).
