Biography of Sir John Jackson by his descendant Patricia Spencer-Silver, first published in 2005 by Six Martlets Publishing for the Newcomen Society. The sources used by Spencer-Silver were 'newspaper cuttings..., brochures, catalogues, and family letters assembled by Sir John and Lady Jackson and various members of their family', including the material held at the University of Edinburgh.
