Note of some Arabic versions of Apollonius' "Sectio Ratione" in the Bodleian Library, that possess Latin glosses by Edward Bernard, Gregory's predecessor in the Savilian Chair of Astronomy, and one other person. This is a transcription of the Gaelic version of the Latin poem by Statius, 'Thebaid'. The manuscript NLS.72.1.8,ff-28 is held at the National Library of Scotland. It is suggested on page 195 that this manuscript is based on an old French translation of the original Latin text.
